    • The project brings together a consortium formed by IGNIS, Aquiles Solutions, Astilleros de Santander, Eiffage Infraestructuras, FM Logistic, Passion Motorbike Factory, and TransBase Soler to enhance port logistical management. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The Clean Ports 5.0 project advances with the aim of improving logistical management in the ports of Cartagena, Alicante, or Valencia.<\/strong> This initiative has received an investment of six million euros, thanks to the Science and Innovation Missions Program, co-financed with Next Generation European Funds.<\/strong>through the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the aim is to optimize port logistics operations, reducing CO2 emissions.<\/p>\n

      The increase in international trade and environmental pressures to reduce carbon<\/strong> emissions have put the industry in the spotlight. Clean Ports Project 5.0 is pledged to provide solutions to optimize the logistical management of these three ports.,<\/strong> just as addressing strategic challenges such as climate change and the transition to renewable energy sources for power generation<\/strong> Furthermore, it will contribute to promoting the adoption of advanced technologies in ports.<\/p>\n

      By the end of this year, the initiative will have invested more than one and a h<\/strong>alf million euros to advance the proposed activities<\/strong>, thus demonstrating the strong commitment of the involved entities to achieve the following objectives.<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Advanced logistics:<\/strong> implementation of artificial intelligence and robotic collaboration.<\/li>\n
      • Sustainable energy generation sources:<\/strong> adoption of renewable energy solutions.<\/li>\n
      • Intermodal efficiency:<\/strong> synergistic coordination at the container terminal.<\/li>\n
      • Optimized mobility:<\/strong> driving eco-friendly practices in port processes and the last mile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        This project represents a collaboration between seven leading companies in the sector, including IGNIS, Aquiles Solutions, Astilleros de Santander, Eiffage Infraestructuras, FM Logistic Ib\u00e9rica, Passion Motorbike Factory, and TransBase Soler.<\/strong> It has the collaboration of the technological centers Cartif<\/strong> and Tecnalia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        Furthermore, the consulting firm Leyton<\/strong> supports in the administrative coordination of the consortium.<\/p>\n

        Sara Fern\u00e1ndez, project manager at IGNIS,<\/strong> emphasizes that Thanks to initiatives like Clean Ports 5.0, various strategic companies in the sector align to provide innovative solutions aimed at optimizing processes from a perspective of energy sustainability, primarily focusing on renewable energies. The support of agencies such as CDTI, through the Next Generation EU European Funds, is crucial to contribute to the European vision of more sustainable ports.<\/em><\/p>\n
